Off the coast of Georgia, Cumberland Island National Seashore is one of only a few wilderness areas on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States.
Accessible only by boat, Cumberland Island is home to pristine beaches, maritime forests, marsh lands, plantation ruins, wild horses, deer and many other wildlife. Campsites are available for visitors, while the magnificent Greyfield Inn on the north side of the island offers the only hotel lodging.
